Miss Serena – Instructor of Dance, Music, and Early Childhood Education
Miss Serena is a dynamic, multi-talented instructor with a lifelong passion for the performing arts and a deep commitment to teaching children and adults. As a licensed Utah teacher with experience in child education, music, and dance, she brings a unique blend of creativity, structure, and joy to every class she teaches—including preschool, choir, ballroom, and social dance.

With decades of training and performance experience, Miss Serena is an accomplished ballroom and social dance instructor. She trained on the Brigham Young University Ballroom Dance Team and Folk Dance Team, completing Gold Latin and Silver Ballroom International Style coursework. She is also an advanced West Coast Swing and Country Two-Step dancer, earning multiple competition wins, including the All American Dance Competition at the Paradise Country Dance Festival. Today, she teaches private and group dance lessons, helping students of all ages build confidence, technique, and a love for movement.

Miss Serena’s musical background is equally rich. She began solo singing at age three and continued through high school chamber choir, two musical productions (including a lead role), BYU University Chorale, BYU Women’s Chorus, and BYU group voice training. She has eight years of piano study and has directed numerous choirs, including the Lindon Elementary Children’s Choir, Freedom Elementary choirs, multiple adult church choirs, and even a church choir performing for 1,000 participants. She has also owned and taught her own Summer Singing Camp, sharing her love of music with young singers.

In the preschool classroom, choir room, or dance studio, Miss Serena creates a warm, engaging environment where students feel supported, excited, and inspired. Her teaching blends artistic excellence with developmental understanding, helping children build confidence, creativity, musicality, and strong foundational skills. Whether guiding little learners, nurturing young singers, or training dancers of all ages, Miss Serena brings unmatched passion, care, and heart to everything she does.
